I've been very excited with expired domains last month thinking they only sold for a cheap price but with higher PR, and then I realized that domain value is more important.

I've made some money by purchasing expired domains with PR. I turned it into a blog, put some content in it and applied in pay per post programs. I can say that the return is good.

All copyrights and patents have always had a finite term, though the terms for copyrights and patents differ. When terms expire, the work or invention is released into public domain. In most countries, the term for patents is 20 years. A tradmark registration may be renewed and remain in force indefinitely provided the trademark is used, but could otherwise become generic.
