Stealing Domain Searches

I've heard from a friend that there are domain registrars that records your domain searches and if you don't register the domain immediately, they will park the domain and sell it for a price higher than usual. Do you have any experiences with this?

I always wondered if that happened but a I dont think so Ive gone back weeks later and most if not every domain was still there to register. with all the dropped domains available with some traffic it doesnt make good business sense. IMO

its 100% true, there r big domainers doing that, they buy this data from whois services & isps' n then they keep all those names with them, which they think r gr8 sounding n have good potential.
