You know I am one of the lucky people who hardly used them as a registrar. But I have been watching the drama unfold and I am so thoroughly disgusted.

I mean this sort of thing makes you realize how volatile business really is. All these people at the mercy of one or two negligent people is baffling.

The thing about this I have the hardest time understanding is why it is so hard for ICANN not to fix the situation. I mean why can't they just reassign all these domain names to another registrar and let everyone get back to work.

Better yet, when registerfly was an enom reseller, why couldn't enom have stepped in and taken over those names.

I just feel sooooooooo BAD for all those affected.

I'm glad I had no domains under that company. That would've caused me a lot of money. I really feel sorry for the people who were affected.

I still have my domain names under registerfly, what's the best way to get out of this mess? I'm looking for a registar that offers 6 pages hosting for free with no banners ads, any recommendations?

THE ICANN has put Godaddy in charge of all the domain names. Godaddy sent me an email and I was able to renew about 49 expired domains. There were a couple that were not sent to my godaddy account so I had to call Godaddy and after some looking I found some of my domains were in yet another Godaddy account. I don’t believe I have these domains back. Its like christmass all over again. I promise I will never let these domains out of my sights again and I will only use reputable domain registars, now matter how cheap someone is I won’t use them. I am sticking with Godaddy and NameCheap from now on!
