If you have an informational site that is full of resources, maybe its a good idea to offer paid membership. Just like a tutorial site, a forum, etc.

It's not really that easy sher. You usually need to prove that it's worth paying for what you offer. Time and money will be involved in this before you can get some return.

I think paid sites work where you have a certain type of business offline and you offer the paid service to content as a type of customer service.

For example, if you were a lawyer or accountant, your clients would sign up for a monthly fee and support would be provided through the paid section of a forum or website.

Nice idea marigot and rex is right, if its for online business, you really have to prove yourself first before you could get those paid members.

Exactly, people require a lot of proof. I myself, am an active member of another forum. I paid my membership but it took me forever - lol

I mean, I have got my worth's 100 times over but you always think - why should I pay for something like that
