How long does it take for a new google adwords account to become active?

Hi

I joined google adwords 6 hours ago and was told that my adverts would be running soon. However, i still don't have any live adverts and everything in my account looks fine and i have made a £5 deposit to activate the account.

How long does it usually take?
Anyone any ideas why the ads arent live?

It need about 2 days for run your ads but you must make sure you have made campaign.
