No follow on you own pages

Do you use a "nofollow" tag in some of your pages? I see some sites that do this and I was wondering what will be the impact of this to search engines. What's your opinion regarding this?

I don't use the nofollow but that is only because I don;t know enough about it or what it does or why to use it. I always thought it was used if you didn;t want people to go to that particular link but like I said I am not informed.

This is one of those things on my to do list - to learn about it and use it wisely.

It's not actually for people not to go to a certain page because the link is still seen. It's for spiders not to follow and pass PR to certain pages or to external links.
