google reports

The reports you get in google in the webmaster tools are great for finding your position and the keywords or phrases searched. I use this in conjunction with my AWSTATS so I learn as much about my site as possible.

But what I am wondering, do you have to download the info from google everyday from every site. How far back do they keep the info?

I am using watchrank for this job.
Only started using it about a week ago, but very easy to use and you can exactly see who your competitors is for any specific keyword.

do you have to download the info from google everyday from every site

It looks to me like you have to download the information quite regularly. I can't find a section to put in a date and I think the information is lost.

I usually copy and paste mine into an excel spreadsheet and just keep a running tab so I know if there is a new keyword that I can jump on to promote.
