what does it mean when your domain

I usually go to google regular and check my pages to see how many get indexed when I add new ones. So before I check the pages, I just check the site by typing in

domain.com - search

So usually the domain comes up as number one but yesterday and this morning, one of my domains didn't come up one. It listed a bunch of other sites that link to mine first, then on the second page, it listed my index page.

Not that it really matters, but why would it move to the second page? If that is the domain you are searching, why doesn't it stay in the number one position?

good ? but what does it matters if it is on second page.

I don;t know specifically if that is something to worry about but something strange happened to one of my client's sites that way.

It seemed that every time I checked the site, the site moved farther and farther down the list. It got to the point that it no longer existed and then one day, it was gone completely.

I still do not know why. She had other people doing promotion and stuff so I cannot say what happened. But I would be worried now if it happened to one of my sites.
