getting ranked in top postions

I've been reading about these people that "claim" they get ranked in the top 10 positions in the search engines within several hours. They claim that if they post info on their squidoo or blogger blogs, they can get their page indexed and ranked to top position the same day.

I do not even see how this is possible. I had these blogs and was writing good content and yet they never even got indexed right away. I did better doing my own wordpress installation and writing.

But how can they get indexed and ranked in hours? Do the search engine bots even come around more than once in a day and even if they did, how can they rank sites by the minute.

Any theories on this or are these people just blowing hot air?

As hot as it can get. Dragon Breath! There is absolutley no way anyone can claim or produce number 1 position in hours. Think about it, if they could they wouldn't tell or show you. They would have their own sites in 1 2 3 4 5 6

its possible to get indexed within hours, bt not
possible to get ranked in hours, unless its a very low competition niche...

even for getting indexed quicker, u need some backlinks.....
